“……Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore.

While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.

"'Tis some visitor," I muttered,"tapping at my chamber door.Only this and nothing more."”

(从前一个阴郁的子夜,我独自沉思,慵懒疲惫,面对许多古怪而离奇、并早已被人遗忘的书卷;

·

“And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting,On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;

And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;

And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floorShall be lifted—nevermore!”

(那只乌鸦并没飞走,它仍然栖息,仍然栖息,栖息在房门上方苍白的帕拉斯半身雕像上面;

它的眼光与正在做梦的魔鬼的眼光一模一样,照在它身上的灯光把它的阴影投射在地板;

「nevermore」
